Be Cyber Smart Presentations

43% of all cybercrime targets small business, so attend a free Be Cyber Smart presentation to understand the tools to apply to protect your business.[1]

The NT Government is hosting a free information session to support NT businesses to better protect against cyber threats.

Presenters include an internationally recognised ethical hacker, who describes how cyber attackers operate and the steps you can take to protect your business; and the Australian Cyber Security Centre.

If you supply to or bid for Defence work, the session also includes information from the Centre for Defence Industry Capability on cyber security challenges and protections specific to Australia Defence Force suppliers, so you can be cyber ready.

Costs of cybercrime can include paying ransoms to obtain your business data, lost business payments through business email compromise and lost operating days from dealing with the impact of cybercrime.

Small businesses in the NT are targets, with reports one small business lost $65,000 to cybercrime - but with the right IT protections you can reduce the risk.[2]

Seats are limited so register to attend today at www.becybersmart.nt.gov.au
