Season three of Million Dollar Fish
The famous Million Dollar Fish competition is back for season three and will lure large numbers of fishing fanatics to the Northern Territory, providing a big win for tourism and local jobs.
With more than $2.1 million in cash and prizes including $1 million for one prized barra, season three is expected to attract some 45,000 registrations.
Timed to grow visitor numbers to the Top End during the low season from October to February, anglers are encouraged to travel with their families and enjoy the unique tourism moments and beautiful landscapes.
With 100 barra worth $10K swimming about in Territory waters plus a fantastic haul of prizes to be won just by registering for the competition, there is bound to be plenty of anglers on the waters come 1 October.
