Video remote interpreting

Video remote interpreting (VRI) is a visual communication service provided by the National Auslan Interpreter Booking and Payment Service (NABS).

It is a free service for people who use sign language to communicate and would like an interpreter for private medical appointments.

VRI cannot be booked for public hospital appointments or if a doctor comes to the hospital ward.
