NT Volunteer of the Year Awards
The Northern Territory (NT) Volunteer of the Year Awards celebrate exemplary volunteer work and recognise the contribution that volunteers make to communities in the NT.
The awards are an initiative of Volunteering SA&NT and are sponsored by the NT Government.
The awards recognise the following categories.

- Chief Minister’s Youth Volunteer of the Year Award
- Chief Minister’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Volunteer of the Year Award
- NT SESVA Emergency Services Youth Volunteer of the Year Award
- Emergency Services Volunteer of the Year Award
- INPEX Community Volunteer Organisation /Team of the Year Award
- Excellence in Volunteer Management Award
- Higher Education /TAFE Student Volunteer of the Year Award
Top End

To nominate an individual or organisation, go to the Volunteering SA&NT website.
When to nominate
Nominations open in June each year.
Where the awards will take place
Awards will be held in two locations:
- Central Australia
- Top End - Darwin.
