This drive begins near Hermannsburg and is only for experienced 4WD drivers and requires careful planning. The high clearance 4WD track wonders down the Finke River to Boggy Hole where you can camp adjacent to this large, permanent waterhole. Boggy Hole is a great bird watching location with a large variety of birds being recording for this site. Please talk with Parks and Wildlife to obtain guidance and directions before heading down the Finke River. Ensure that you get a long term weather forecast before setting out. This track is closed if there is rain in the area so make sure you check with the NT Road Report for road closures.
