This short 1.5 km, 45 minute return walk up a sandstone staircase rewards you with a magnificent panorama of remarkable sculptured sandstone hills, that encircle part of the old bed of Palm Creek. The elevation allows you to look into this rock amphitheatre which includes rugged cliffs and towering tors. This walk is best done in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun makes the cliff faces burn a deep red.
