There are gas barbecues, toilets and showers available at Ormiston Gorge.  Camping fees are payable at the site and camping is only permitted in designated areas.  There is a separate camp ground for schools and large groups and bookings are essential for this seperate area.  There is a limited supply of drinking water available, people planning to stay should carry their drinking water and requirements with them.  It is recommended that all tank and surface water at Ormiston Gorge be treated before drinking. If planning to camp at Ormiston ensure you are early to avoid disappointment.
