Camping at Owen Springs
1. Camping at Owen Springs
Camping is allowed between the signposts with Lawreance Gogre as it cuts its way through the Waterhouse Ranges. There are no facilities provided and visitors should bring their own drinking water requirements. Do not drink from any waterholes along the Hugh River.
The second camping area is located in the southern part of the Park along the edges of the appealing Redbank Waterhole (not to be confused with the waterhole of the same name that's in the western area of the West MacDonnell NP). Once again there are no facilities provided and visitors should bring their own drinking water requirements. Dogs are only permitted at this camping area on the Reserve.
North of Namatjira Drive, you can camp along the Hugh River as far as Reedy Waterhole and at Birthday Waterhole. (CHECK, CHECK, CHECK Sheridan to call back))
There are no facilities provided
