Redbank Gorge - Places to Visit - The West Macs
Sitting in the shadow of Mount Sonder, this shady gorge is a majestic stop along the Red Centre Way. The car park at Redbank Gorge is the starting point for the long day walk to the Mount Sonder summit with it breathtaking views. The water at Redbank Gorge is cold, so it can make for an ideal place to cool down in the summer heat and swimming into the chasm beyond is arguably one of the most wondrous experiences in Central Australia.
