The law in Australia requires you to wear a seat belt that is properly adjusted and fastened. A seat belt can not only save your life but may also prevent serious injury. Always check that your passengers are wearing seat belts during your trip, and that children are properly restrained by a suitable and approved child restraint or seat belt.
