Public Transport
The Public Transport Division is responsible for managing public transport services in Darwin (the Darwinbus network) and Alice Springs (the ASBUS Service) and dedicated transport services for students in the Northern Territory, including transportation for students with identified special needs.

What we do:
- Facilitate the provision of public bus services to the greater Darwin area (including Palmerston and the rural area) and in Alice Springs. Public bus services are provided by a range of contractors, including the Darwin Bus Service (DBS) and Buslink.
- Facilitate the provision of dedicated school bus services throughout the Northern Territory including transportation for students with special needs.
- Provide bus services for a range of events in Darwin including the Arafura Games and V8 Supercars.
- Provide assistance for the Mandorah Ferry Service.
- Responsible for all bus infrastructure,such as bus interchanges, bus stops and bus shelters.
