The Department of Planning and Infrastructure is addressing safety concerns at the Trower Road and Rothdale Road intersection, and would like your feedback.

The works will channel all drivers heading to Casuarina on Trower Road away from a trapped right turn as they approach Parer Drive intersection.

To achieve this, it is planned to modify the existing median by merging the three lanes on Trower Road into two lanes.

Further outcomes will include:

• the removal of the acute angle for traffic merging from Rothdale Road
• upgrading the pedestrian amenity across Styles Street
• the opportunity to establish landscaping, consistent with the Darwin arterial landscaping materplan
• remove curbside parking throughout the area.
