Cycle Connect

a better way to commute for you and the environment

Secure Bicycle Enclosures at Casuarina and Palmerston Bus Interchanges

Bicyle Enclosure Casuarina

Cycle Connect is an Australian Government initiative to provide secure bicycle parking at suburban public transport nodes.  By providing secure bicycle storage, Cycle Connect aims to encourage commuters to cycle to public transport nodes, then commute using public transport.

Replacing short car trips with bicycle rides has many benefits including improved individual health and fitness, reduced traffic congestion and less vehicle emissions.

Location and Operating Hours

Through the Cycle Connect project, the Department of Planning and Infrastructure has constructed secure bicycle enclosures at Casuarina and Palmerston Bus Interchanges.

The enclosures will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to holders of an access key.
