National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS)

The National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) is a national program developed to assist the road transport industry in maintaining a more efficient and safer transport operation.

The Department of Planning and Infrastructure administers NHVAS in the NT for Territory based heavy vehicle operators through its Accreditation and Audit Unit.
