Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS)
As part of the Government’s ongoing commitment to improving road safety a Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) was introduced to the Northern Territory on 1 July 2008.
This scheme allows the novice rider to ride moderately powered motorcycles that are appropriate for their level of experience.
