From 30 June 2009, if you’re caught hooning on the Territory’s streets you could lose your car and your cash.

The Northern Territory Government is getting hoons off our streets. New anti-hooning laws mean that if you’re caught hooning on Territory streets the police can impound or immobilise your car on the spot for 48 hours, even if it is your first offence.
