Government Employee Housing (GEH) is a service through Territory Housing that provides accommodation for eligible Northern Territory Government employees. Eligibility is determined by your employing agency.
The role of Government Employee Housing is to:
Manage the tenancy of Government Employee Housing stock
Program the construction, replacement and upgrading of Government Employee Housing in consultation with client agencies and stakeholders
Identify, examine and report on potential issues and opportunities that will enhance the delivery of Government Employee Housing
Provide policy advice to the Minister for Housing and the Department of Local Government, Housing and Sport on matters relating to Government Employee Housing
