The Territory has record numbers of police, nurses and teachers and we want more.

Nursing, teaching and policing are some of the most important jobs in the community, and the Territory Government wants more Territorians in these key professions.

The Government is investing record resources into these core services, and this financial year will recruit 120 police officers, 160 nurses, and 165 teachers – including 35 extra police, 65 extra teachers, and 40 extra nurses.
