The FOIT Graduate Program
The FOIT program comprises the following:
- formal training in the processes of Government and weekly
workshops and seminars detailing the functions of Treasury;
- three to four monthly placements within Treasury; and
- the chance to complete a Graduate Certificate in Public Governance upon successful completion of the program.
Formal Training Courses includes a selection of practical courses
which complement the ‘hands on’ experience gained through
employment placements. Seminars and workshops cover various aspects
of Treasury’s operations and are presented by Directors and
senior staff. Other sessions cover processes in the
Northern Territory Public Sector.

- Privatisation and Appropriate Role for Government
- Information Act and Privacy Session
- Cross Cultural Awareness
- Basic Anti-Discrimination
