Northern Territory Treasury offers three employment programs for people who have finished high school and want to begin a career in the public sector.
Northern Territory Treasury is pleased to continue its support of full-time students studying a Bachelor of Business (Economics) or a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Charles Darwin University. As part of the Charles Darwin University/Northern Territory Government Partnership Agreement, Treasury has replaced its Student Economist Scheme with the Work Integrated Learning Scholarship (WILS) in Economics and Accounting.
The key benefits available to scholarship holders through the WILS, include:
a generous stipend of $2500 paid each semester for the duration of undergraduate study; and
paid, industry relevant work experience at Treasury of up to 12 weeks per year at an Administrative Officer Level 2 salary ($37 099 per annum).

Treasury employs apprentices through the New Apprenticeship Program. Treasury apprenticeships take 12 months to complete, during which time apprentices receive training on and off the job to gain a Certificate III in Business Administration. For more information, download a flier here (102 Kb).
