DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS EXTENDED TO 29 FEBRUARY 2008

We have received quite a number of abstracts so far; many thanks to everyone who has submitted them. However, we are keen to increase the number of presentations at the conference and have therefore decided to extend the deadline to Friday 29th February. We warmly encourage you to submit abstracts for papers and posters. Please tell your colleagues! Email abstracts to apa2008@cdu.edu.au.

Call for Papers, Abstracts and Posters

Two streams are available for the submission of conference papers, abstracts and posters.

  1. Refereed (full paper) stream - these full research papers will be anonymously refereed by the review and editorial committee and the best papers will be considered for inclusion in a special edition of the Journal of Population Research (http://www.jpr.org.au). The deadline for submission of full papers is 28 March 2008, along with the required details listed below. Limited space in the special edition means that we may not be able to publish all full papers submitted. Consideration will be given to the publication of conference proceedings.

  2. Abstract/poster stream - abstracts should be between 200 and 300 words and should be submitted with the required details that are listed below. Poster titles with a brief description are also being accepted. The deadline for submission of abstracts and posters is 15 February 2008.

How to Submit Your Paper, Abstract or Poster

The following details are required with each submission:

Name
Institution affiliation
Job title
Paper, abstract or poster title
Preferred email
Phone contact

Submission to both streams is via email to apa2008@cdu.edu.au. Please direct any enquiries regarding paper, abstract or poster submissions to this email address.
