The Hon. James Boyd Keith Williams CBE (1982)

James Williams served as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 1982.

Justice Williams was a Crown Law Officer and Member of the Northern Territory Legislative Council from 1965 - 1971.

He was a Judge of the Pre-Independence Supreme Court of Papua New Guinea from 1971 - 1975 and one of the first Judges of the National Court of Justice of New Guinea from 1975 - 1978.

Justice Williams was a Senior member of the Commonwealth Administrative Appeals Tribunal from 1979 -

Justice Williams was made a Companion of the Order of the British Empire in 1978.
