John Sweeney served as an
additional Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory
from 1976 - 1979.
Justice Sweeney was appointed as
a Queens' Counsel in 1962 and made a Justice of the Australian
Industrial Court in 1973.
Justice Sweeney served as a Justice
of the Federal Court of Australian from 1977 and as a Justice
of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory from
1975.
