Assistance Schemes




Racing, Gaming and Licensing aims to effectively administer legislation and develop policy that minimises harm related to gaming, racing, liquor, kava, private security, prostitution, tobacco and associated activities.
Territory businesses have access to enterprise improvement grants and assistance, subject to qualifying criteria.
The Northern Territory Government is providing rebates of up to $50 for certain water saving products and up to $500 for eligible plumbing services purchased by residents in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.
The Policy Coordination Unit is made up of Legal Policy, Community and Justice Policy and the departments Research and Statistics Unit. Essentially, any policy issue across the department is fed through this new unit for advice and further development. ecoBiz NT is a program that helps Territory businesses adopt resource-efficient practices that are good for their financial bottom line as well as for the environment.
