The Department of Health exists to provide services that work together for the health and well-being of our communities: maximising physical health but also the mental, social and environmental well-being of all Territorians.
The Centre of Disease Control has offices in the five major urban centres in the NT and provides clinical services, including screening and contact tracing, for sexual health, blood born viruses, tuberculosis, leprosy and other mycobacterial diseases. CDC's role includes policy and clinical guideline development for these diseases.
