Epidemiology Branch's core business is to monitor the health status of the Northern Territory by collecting population level information. Generally Epidemiology investigates the spread of diseases based on the collection of population level statistics. Data analysed includes mortality, cancer and perinatal information. For information on communicable diseases please refer to the Centre for Disease Control.
The Remote Health Atlas website enables Remote Health Workers across the Northern Territory and visitors to the site to access comprehensive health resources online. It is hoped that the availablity of this information is helpful to all users and visitors.
eHealthNT is focused on advancing health care delivery through a range of systems to assist health care providers with securely storing, sharing and transmitting important patient care information.
