The Cancer Council NT is a non-government, charitable, community based organisation committed to raising funds for the purpose of reducing the impact of cancer. It provides information, awareness and support for people affected by cancer.
The Community Visitor Program specialises in complaints resolution and advocacy for people receiving treatment from NT Mental Health Services. It is an independent service established to promote and protect the rights of Territorians affected by mental illness.
Diabetes Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that offers personalised and practical assistance to benefit people with diabetes and their carers and provides a forum for the development of national policies.
Epilepsy Action Australia provides information, education, guidance and support to all people affected by seizures and epilepsy.
Palliative care is active care that aims to promote comfort when cure is no longer possible. It offers a positive approach to caring and encourages people to live as full a life as they can when faced with a life limiting illness.
