The Australia Day Council NT Inc, is a community based, not-for-profit organisation. Our mission is to: Inspire National pride and spirit to enrich the life of the Northern Territory. We do this through organisation and co-ordination of celebrations , awards and education programs.
Australia's Open Garden Scheme promotes the knowledge and pleasure of gardens and gardening around Australia by opening gardens to the public.
Northern Territory Army Cadets has units throughout the NT where cadets aged between 12 1 /2 and 18 learn various skills including Navigation, Radio Procedures, Field Craft, Drill, Engineering, and First Aid. Cadets meet each Tuesday night of the school term from 6.30pm until 9.30pm at their local Military Barracks. Throughout the year there is also a variety of activities to attend such as the Chief of Army Cadet Team Challenge, the opportunity to spend two weeks overseas on the Army Cadet Exchange and a week of camping and activities on the Annual Field Exercise in the June/July holidays. For the really keen ones there is the Adventure Training Award held in Tasmania each year and a selection of skill and promotion courses along with various day trips to local facilities in Darwin.
Bushtel is a central point for information about the regions in the Northern Territory, its people and communities, its cultural and historical influences and the statistics and data that allow for informed decision-making.
COOLmob is a project organised by volunteers from the Darwin community working together to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions through improved home energy efficiency, reduced car usage and less waste going to landfill.
The Cancer Council NT is a non-government, charitable, community based organisation committed to raising funds for the purpose of reducing the impact of cancer. It provides information, awareness and support for people affected by cancer.
The Chung Wah Society is a community-based, non-political organisation. The Society promotes harmony and goodwill between Chinese residents in the NT and people of other nationalities, promotes the general, cultural education, social interests and welfare of its members and provides and maintains the Chinese Temple as a place of worship.

Corrugated Iron Youth Arts Inc (CIYA) is a place for young people under 26 years of age to pursue performing arts in Darwin, Northern Territory.
CRANA was founded to highlight Remote Health Issues of people who live in remote areas and the inequities, quality and accessibility in services available to these Australians.

We are a club for people (of all ages) who like to help themselves - and others - benefit from modern computer technology. We teach each other how to use, enjoy and look after our own personal and small business computers, then we use these skills to help others (particularly seniors and people with disabilities) look after their computer
The Library has huge varieties of toys and aim to provide services to children who are disadvantaged in the community including those with intellectual, physical, emotional and social disabilities; also those who are economically disadvantaged, children from families of whom English is a second language, and isolated children.
Alternative Cinema Under the Stars in Darwin. Theatrical screenings of the best of alternative cinema drawn from Australian and international film making, in a relaxed open air cinema during the Top End dry season (April to October). Program includes members screenings, special events, and festivals.
Diabetes Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that offers personalised and practical assistance to benefit people with diabetes and their carers and provides a forum for the development of national policies.
Dragon Boat Northern Territory Inc is a non-profit association responsible for the development and administration of the sport of Dragon Boat Racing in the Northern Territory of Australia. DBNT was established in April 1998 with no boats or funds and has since grown to over 100 regular paddlers in four clubs.
The Environment Centre Northern Territory was established in 1983 and has played a crucial role in improving environmental protection and management throughout the Territory.
Epilepsy Action Australia provides information, education, guidance and support to all people affected by seizures and epilepsy.

This Frogs Database contains information about frog species, pictures, calls and maps from across Northern Australia including Northern Territory, the Kimberly region and North QLD (currently excluding the Wet Tropic rainforests).
Guide Dogs SA.NT is a not-for-profit organisation providing support and services for people in the NT who are blind or vision impaired. We have offices in Darwin and Alice Springs and will travel to remote locations to assist our clients.

Penguin Club Groups throughout Australia assist women to develop skills in public speaking, chairmanship and meeting procedure.
The RFDS provides broad range of services in rural and remote areas of Australia including traditional emergency flights for victims of accidents or illness, regular clinic flights to isolated communities with teams of doctors, nurses and specialists whilst increasingly providing critical support to the metropolitan area.

GEMYDU provides programs for youth, youth at risk and diversion clients to assist with life skills, job hunting and education on Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island.
