The Policy Coordination Unit is made up of Legal Policy, Community and Justice Policy and the departments Research and Statistics Unit. Essentially, any policy issue across the department is fed through this new unit for advice and further development. This ensures whole of Government/departmental strategies and directions are consistently met in the most efficient and effective way.
