The NT Government maintains the ‘What’s on in the Territory’ Calendar of Events to provide the opportunity for Northern Territory Government agencies and community organisations to promote their activities using the internet.
The purpose of the calendar is to provide a vehicle for the sharing of information of interest at the Territory wide level and the local community level. The scope of the calendar ranges from art exhibitions and theatre events to sport, hobby and support groups.
It is the responsibility of agencies and organisations to electronically register their events with the calendar and ensure that all event information is up to date. The NT Government does not guarantee the correctness of any information contained in the calendar of events. This information is provided by community groups and regional organisations. It is not checked for accuracy by the NT Government.
It is the responsibility of the NT Government to ensure the calendar functions correctly.
Submitting an event on the Calendar of Events is FREE.
Organisation Criteria
The Calendar of Events is a facility available for NTG agencies and community organisations operating in the Northern Territory.
Community organisation is defined as a formal group contributing to the cultural, social, educational and/or recreational interests of the Northern Territory community. Organisations that charge an annual membership fee or charge for organised activities in order to recover costs are eligible to register in the calendar of events. Organisations that charge for services for the purpose of making a profit are not eligible.

the organisation has a homepage, a link can be inserted from each entry on the calendar.
Event Criteria
When adding a new event organisations will be asked to provide the following information:
The NT Government checks all entries for completeness and suitability before they are displayed on the calendar. This will usually occur on the next working day after the entry has been made.
All decisions regarding inclusion in the calendar rest with the NT Government.
