Matthew Fegan – Scientific Officer

Qualifications

BSci (Physics & Mathematics), Hons (Geophysics) -UNE Armidale.
Grad Dip Ed - DIT Darwin
Grad Dip GIS & Remote Sensing – NTU Darwin

Research

Matthew joined the Biodiversity Conservation Division in 2008 and  has 20 years experience in teaching (High School and TAFE / University), as well as 5 years experience in research on the application of GIS and Remote Sensing to map updating. Prior to teaching, he worked as a Geophysicist and as an Assayer. On finishing his research, Matthew has most recently worked as a GIS Analyst.
