Dr Greg Leach – Executive Director Biodiversity Conservation
Qualifications
He has over 30 years of experience in botanical survey and the taxonomy and ecology of tropical plants. He has worked in the Northern Territory for the past 20 years in the areas of plant systematics and wildlife conservation.
Previously he worked in Papua New Guinea in the Herbarium at the National Botanic Garden in Lae and as a lecturer at the University of Papua New Guinea.
Research
Greg’s research interests include threatened flora, plant taxonomic revisionary work, freshwater plants, traditional plant knowledge and natural product chemistry of plants.
