It is proposed that, when finalised, this new management program will supersede the previous Freshwater Crocodile program.
Please note that only the information relating to Freshwater Crocodiles (Crocodylus johnstoni) should be referred to in this previous Management Program as there is now a separate, current Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) Management Program.
The Northern Territory Government encourages Territorians to have their say on the draft Management Program for the Freshwater Crocodile.
Your input will help guide the future long-term conservation of the Freshwater Crocodile and its habitats in the Northern Territory.
The draft Program is open for public comment until 12 Feb 2009.
