The Northern Territory Herbarium is not open to the public.

A reference collection of native, naturalised and cultivated plants species is provided and available for identification purposes for scientists, consultants students and interested members of the public at both Darwin and Alice Springs.

Use of the Reference Collection in Darwin and Alice Springs must be made by prior appointment.

Access to the main collection is restricted to bona fide scientists undertaking research and must be arranged by prior appointment with the Curator.
