John Childs is the Chair of DRMAC. John is a director of Bush Business Consulting P/L. He is Deputy Chair of the Board of Land and Water Australia, and a member of the NT Pastoral Land Board. From 1997 to 2002 John held the position of Director of Tropical Savannas CRC.

Represents non-Indigenous Landowners and the NT Cattleman’s Association (NTCA). Owner of pastoral and farming property in the Douglas Daly Region. Committee Member of Top End Branch of NTCA.

Represents non-Indigenous landowners and the NT Horticultural Association (NTHA). Owner of Wilderness Farms. Long standing member on the NTHA Council and representative of the Organic Producers Association. Participant in the North Australia Irrigation Futures Project Stakeholder Reference Group. Previously a member of the Daly Region Community Reference Group.

Mr Gary Higgins

Represents the NT Tourism Industry and the Katherine Region Tourist Association (KRTA) . Owner / Operator Daly River Mango Farm and Tourist Park.

Ms Mona Liddy

Represents Indigenous landowners and the Daly Region Aboriginal Reference Group (DRARG). Traditional Owner for Wagiman. Represents middle and upper region of Daly River area. Conducted research in natural resource management for Charles Darwin University and CSIRO. Previously a member of the Daly Region Community Reference Group.

Mr William Hewitt

Represents Indigenous landowners and the Daly Region Aboriginal Reference Group (DRARG). Traditional Owner for Wadjigan. Represents lower region of Daly River area. Worked on NRM issues for the incorporated body for Wadjigan and Batjamahl language. Represented the Northern Land Council on land management issues.

Mr Warren de With

Represents Recreation/Fishing interests and the Amateur Fishermen’s Association of the NT (AFANT). President AFANT for past 5 years. Former President Katherine Region Tourism Association. Proprietor Rod and Rifle Katherine.

Dr Stuart Blanch

Represents Conservation interests and was nominated by the NT Environment Centre. Manager Northern Landscapes / Manager Freshwater, WWF-Australia. Background in aquatic science and environmental law. Author of various river management conservation reports.
