Drilling Information
To undertake water bore drilling practices in the Northern Territory you must be licenced under the NT Water Act. This page has been developed to assist interested and current drillers in maintaining industry standards under the Act and in conjunction with Departmental requirements.
As a requirement under the NT Water Act, Northern Territory licenced drillers are required to submit Statement of Bores and notify the relevant regional office to schedule a surface collar inspection. All Statement of Bores are to be submitted to the relevant office to ensure they are registered and recorded with this Department.
