Fishing Permit
Fishing is one of the Territory’s most popular recreational activities
and brings many tourists to the Top End. Many Parks and Reserves allow for
recreational fishing activities but have rules and regulations that must
be adhered to whilst within the Park.
Each Park will have its own fishing regulations which may be observed on information signs within the park or by obtaining a fact sheet from the Find a Park website or the Parks and Wildlife Service by phone on (+61 8) 8999 4555.
Some Parks allow fishing within business hours but require a permit to be issued whilst fishing at night. If unsure it is advisable to contact the Park or Reserve you will be visiting prior to planning your fishing trip.
