The Summary Paper was prepared as an overview of the draft Northern Territory Parks and Conservation Masterplan to promote discussion.

The primary goal of the Masterplan is to provide the basis for passing on to future
generations the full range of biological diversity now present in the Northern Territory,
together with the priceless legacy of our park system, not only intact but expanded and
improved.

The Northern Territory Parks and Conservation Masterplan - Sites of Conservation Significance map (pdf 1.4Mb) identifies the location of international, national and sites of other conservation significance.

Northern Territory Bioregions: Assessment of Key Biodiversity Values and Threats (supplementary volume to the Masterplan)

The Northern Territory Bioregions report is a resource document to accompany the Northern Territory Parks and Conservation Masterplan.

The report provides a baseline of the status of our flaura and fauna, and summarises the land uses and management issues which affect our biological diversity, and provides the reader with an understanding of the pressures that need to be managed by all Territorians.
