Park Closures in Central Australia - 13 January
The Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport (NRETAS) advise that due to recent wet weather conditions a number of parks and reserves in the Alice Springs region have been temporarily closed. View media release (pdf 28Kb)

$830,000 Upgrade At Litchfield National Park - 23 December
Acting Parks and Wildlife Minister Gerry McCarthy today said a new visitor experience is set to be delivered at one of the Territory’s most popular tourist attractions. View media release

Howard Springs Nature Park Set To Reopen - 18 December
Parks and Wildlife Minister Karl Hampton today said the Howard Springs Nature Park is due to reopen to the public tomorrow. View media release

Warning ClosureTemporary Closure of Dam Wall to walking - Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve - July
Please note that the dam wall at Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve remains closed to walking due to the presence of a large Saltwater Crocodile. Access across the wall is by vehicle only.
