1977 Cabinet Records Open to the Public

The 1977 Cabinet Records relating to the transfer of powers from the Commonwealth to the Northern Territory in preparation for self-government will be available to the public at the Northern Territory Archives Service, 2nd floor, 25 Cavenagh Street from Wednesday 2 January 2008.

A Guide to Northern Territory Cabinet Records, including a listing of the Cabinet decisions, will be available to the public in the Darwin Search Room.  

The Darwin Search Room of the Northern Territory Archives Service is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 12.00noon and 1.00pm to 4.00pm. To contact the Reference Archivist please refer to the following contact details;
