Impacts of Weeds
Weeds severely impact the Northern Territory’s environmental, economic, social and cultural values. These impacts may be felt in a number of ways, including changes in biodiversity, decreased production potential and increased production costs, restricting access to waterways and altered fire regimes. A weed can be both a symptom and a cause of land degradation.
