Data Request
Land resource information (including soil, land unit, land system, vegetation and land use information) is available in a variety of formats.
Many published reports and maps are available in PDF format whilst some information is only available in hardcopy.
Some data is also available as raster or vector digital datasets. Examples include some soil and vegetation survey site data and land unit polygon data.
Data on species of conservation importance/rare or checklists of species should be requested form the Parks and Wildlife Service.
| Fees | Fees and charges will apply in relation to data recovery and compilation in the processing of requests for land resource information and GIS Data. |
| Digital Data Agreement | A Digital Data Agreement and other restrictions may apply. |
| Metadata | Metadata where available is supplied with all GIS digital data. |
| Data Format | Data will generally be supplied as an ESRI Shapefile or Exportfile in GDA94 geographic unless otherwise specified. |
Note: Published maps and reports will be supplied in PDF format.
