Community Support Component 2006-07
Australian Agriculture Minister Warren Truss invited applications for funding for 2005-06 projects under the Australian Government's National Landcare Program (NLP) on 11 May 2006 and applications closed Friday 4 August 2006.
The Commonwealth Government invested over $900,000 to the Northern Territory under the Community Support Component of the NLP for 2006/2007.
All approved projects in 2006/2007 are continuing projects as commitments to projects first approved in 2004-05 and 2005-06 leave no new funds for new projects.
Investment proposals that were selected for continued funding through the NLP 2006/2007 round include:
