National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP)
Investment Proposals for 2004-2005
The former Landcare Council of the Northern Territory as the previous regional body for the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP) in the Northern Territory, called for investment proposals for interim funding 2004-2005 and applications closed on Friday 3 September 2004.
The Australian and Northern Territory Governments have invested $1.0million under the NAP in NAP regions in the Territory in 2004-2005. Ministers agreed to invest $0.5million in salt intrusion works as a priority project under the NAP in the existing Mary River Integrated Catchment Management plan.
Investment proposals that were selected for funding through the NAP 2004-2005 round include:
