Landcare Council of the NT
The functions of the Landcare Council of the NT are to:
- Act as a representative, advisory and community reference group to and for the Minister for Natural Resources, the Environment and Heritage;
- Through an annual forum:
- Provide input into the review of the NT INRM Plan and RIS;
- Provide community input into the NRMB report to the annual, national Ministerial NRM Council and presentation at the NRM Community Forum; and
- Represent and encourage community landcare initiatives in the NT.
- Provide advice on any matters referred to it by the Minister or the NRMB.
