Landcare and Coastcare Groups
Lancare and Coastcare groups are actively involved in the protection and rehabilitation of remnant bushland areas, waterways and coastlines. Groups hold monthly working bees attended by local volunteers. The groups work closely with local land management organisations to cooperatively manage bushland areas. All groups actively promote their projects and regularly hold public education days to raise awareness of the biodiversity benefits of retaining bushland areas.
If your group would like to highlight your latest project or update the group information on this web-site please contact the Landcare Extension Officer in your region.
