Hire Our Facilities
The Museum and Art Gallery of the NT (MAGNT) at Bullocky Point has several areas that are available for hire, along with two outer locations. Areas for hire range from a fully functional theatre environment to an expanse of manicured lawns with dazzling ocean views.
The Museum grounds are surrounded with enormous trees, tropical palms and luscious green ferns providing relaxing shaded areas or an inviting natural border for functions underneath the stars.
The grounds have become a very popular location for weddings and with the magnificent Darwin sunset in the background it is a very attractive place for such special outdoor occasions.

Venue Hire Fees
Cash, cheque or credit card (Mastercard, Visa and Bankcard only) payments are accepted. Payments can be made in person between the hours of 9am – 4pm. It is advisable to contact the Venue Hire Co-ordinator before coming in.
Unless otherwise advised, all bookings require the payment of a security deposit which is returned after the function if the area is left in a clean and undamaged state.
To ensure speedy processing of your refund, please complete the relevant NTG Payment Details Form (listed below) and return to the Venue Hire Co-ordinator with your payment.

Liquor Permit
If alcohol is to be consumed or sold at functions, a ‘Special Licence to Sell Liquor’ must be obtained from the Licensing Commission. Before submitting the completed form it must also be approved and signed by the Director, MAGNT.
