People's Choice
For the first time in the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award’s history an online People's Choice Award has been created, for visitors who view the virtual gallery and the 93 pre-selected artworks.
This online People’s Choice Award is an opportunity for virtual visitors to the 26th NATSIAA to have their say on what they felt was the best entry in this year’s Award.
The Museum and Art Gallery will continue to hold a People’s Choice Award for those who can physically attend the gallery exhibition at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory in Darwin. The votes from the online People’s Choice Award will have no bearing on the People’s Choice Award as decided by those people who visit the exhibition in Darwin.
You may only vote once in the online People’s Choice Award, with voting closing on Sunday 25th October 2009. The Online People's Choice winner will be announced on Wednesday 28th October 2009.
