| Description | |
| A timber and stone structure. | |
| Statement of Heritage Value | |
| The stone building known as Bowson Hut and the associated timber hut and timber stock yards were built in 1921. They have historic merit for the construction skills employed in a remote locality. The site includes the gravestone of Paddy O'Leary, who died in 1926 while at Bowson's Hole looking over the station with a view to buying it. The hut obtained its name from nearby Mt Bowson which was named by Charles Chewings in 1885. | |
