The State and Territory Greenhouse Gas Emissions report provides an overview of the Northern Territory greenhouse gas emissions inventory for the year 2004. It has been published by the Australian Greenhouse Office, with input from the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Committee. Northern Territory Strategy for Greenhouse Action
The Northern Territory Government recognises that climate change is a serious environmental threat requiring a timely, global response to minimise impacts and prepare for change. The Northern Territory Strategy for Greenhouse Action (pdf 890Kb) addresses greenhouse issues in the Northern Territory and was developed in accordance with the Northern Territory Greenhouse Policy Framework (pdf 11Kb).
